President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after official visits to Japan and Brazil, where he engaged in high-level talks aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s international partnerships.
The President arrived in the Federal Capital Territory early Thursday, following his departure from Brasília on Wednesday after a two-day state visit.
During his stop in Brazil, Tinubu met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and both leaders witnessed the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding covering aviation, foreign affairs, agriculture, and science and technology.
Earlier in Japan, the Nigerian leader participated in strategic discussions focused on economic cooperation, trade, and investment opportunities.
The visits, according to officials, are part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic ties with key global partners.
