Two police officers have been found dead inside the South African Police Service (SAPS) station at Nkowankowa Police Station outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.
According to police, a male officer allegedly shot his female colleague after an argument, then turned the gun on himself. Both died at the scene.
Initial reports suggest a possible domestic‑related cause, though investigators have opened a full inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The tragedy has prompted shock and concern within the province, with police pledging to investigate thoroughly and determine motive.
