University Press Plc (UPL) has donated 3,875 educational textbooks valued at over ₦12.5 million to the Ondo State Government, in a move aimed at strengthening education and human capital development in the state.

The donation was presented during a courtesy visit to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the Government House in Akure. Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of University Press Plc, Mr Samuel Kolawole, said the gesture was part of the company’s long-standing tradition of giving back to Ondo State.“Ondo State has remained home to University Press Plc over the years, and we consider it a duty to continue supporting education and learning wherever possible,” Kolawole said, adding that the company has enjoyed a strong partnership with the state across successive administrations.

Governor Aiyedatiwa commended University Press Plc for its consistency and sustained commitment to education, describing access to quality learning materials as a critical driver of economic growth and human capital development. “Education remains the backbone of development, and partnerships like this help to secure a better future for our children and the state at large,” the Governor said.
