The White House has announced President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza Peace Plan, outlining steps aimed at ending the conflict:
No Israeli Occupation or Annexation: Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza.
Demilitarization: Gaza will be designated a “deradicalized, terror-free zone” that poses no threat to neighbors.
Hostage Deal: Within 72 hours of Israel accepting the plan, all hostages—alive or deceased—will be returned.
Prisoner Exchange: Following hostage release, Israel will free 250 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,700 Gazans detained after October 7, 2023.
Political Dialogue: The U.S. will facilitate talks between Israel and Palestinians to establish a framework for peaceful coexistence.
Immediate Ceasefire: If both sides agree, the war will end immediately.
