U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has announced the arrest of a woman who allegedly traveled from New York to Washington, D.C. with the intent to “eliminate” former President Donald Trump.
Authorities said the suspect was apprehended before she could carry out her plan. Details about her identity and possible affiliations have not yet been disclosed.
Pirro confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that federal law enforcement agencies are treating the case as a serious security threat.
