The FCT Police have arrested one Kingsley Nebo, identified as the alleged sponsor behind the killing of 25-year-old Sochima Onoh in Enugu on July 12, 2025. Nebo, who operates an Enugu-based real estate firm known as Dandatec Real Estate, was captured alongside five accomplices, while several others remain at large.
In a video confession, Nebo admitted to paying the killers ₦1 million to carry out the murder.
Investigations revealed that his motive was to instigate violence between neighboring communities, thereby creating an opportunity to seize lands through the Enugu State Geographical Information System (ENGIS) — a tactic he reportedly used in previous disputes under the guise of communal clashes.
Nebo allegedly boasted that “all the police in Enugu” were under his influence.
