Chioma Adeleke has shared intimate insights into her relationship with Afrobeats icon David “Davido” Adeleke, shortly before their grand $3.7 million white wedding in Miami.
She spoke in an interview with NoireTV, excerpts of which were posted on the station’s Instagram.
The professional chef and mother of their twins, born in 2023, revealed why she chose to marry Davido, emphasizing his unwavering support for her personal ambitions.
“David actually cares about my dreams, right? I’ve faced many challenges, but he always asks, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you want to do?’” Chioma said, her voice warm with gratitude.
She hinted at exciting solo projects set to launch in 2026, stating, “We have plans, stuff coming out in the next few months.”
Chioma, who met Davido over a decade ago at Babcock University, highlighted his commitment to her individuality beyond her roles as his wife and mother.
Their journey, marked by a traditional Lagos wedding in June 2024 and a court wedding in March 2023, has endured public scrutiny and personal tragedy, including the loss of their son Ifeanyi in 2022.
The #Chivido2025 celebration, attended by stars like Teniola Apata, Adekunle Gold, and Burna Boy, reflects their resilience.
Chioma’s culinary brand and upcoming ventures underscore her drive, with Davido’s 14.8 million X followers amplifying the buzz around their love story.
