Dr. Edwin Obune, National Coordinator Enugu Youth Coalition on a report released to LeadNaija News on Wednesday raised alarm over alleged plot said to discreet the former governor of Enugu state Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Our attention has been drawn to the systematic and invidious plots to tarnish the sterling image and reputation of the immediate past Governor of Enugu State and Ambassadorial Nominee, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi by some disgruntled elements from within and outside the state.

In a statement released to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday by the national coordinator of Enugu Youth Coalition, Dr. Edwin Obune, the group said these folks are workers of iniquity whose only stock in trade is to sow the seed of sorrow in the midst of joyous people.

Noting that their evil agenda will fail because darkness can never rule over light.

While the entire state is happy with the Ambassadorial Nomination of the former Governor, these Devil-incantes chose to be sponsoring negative media narratives against Ugwuanyi.

We understand that they are some elements whose hearts are as dark as a charcoal who will never allow the ray of light to permeate through it, but taking it to the height of sponsoring fabricated stories and lies against the ex-governor is unacceptable.

While we are working with the security agencies to uncover the identities of these folks and deal with them in accordance with the law, we advice the general public to disregard the planted story as well as those yet to surface in the public domain.
