During his maiden operational visit to the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility at Joe Akahaan Cantonment, Makurdi, on February 12, 2025, he was warmly received by the Commander 401 SF Bde, Brigadier General AS Bugaje.
In his address to the troops, General Oluyede expressed deep appreciation for their relentless efforts in protecting citizens and defending Benue and its environs.
He commended their bravery, discipline, and sacrifice, reaffirming his commitment to providing the necessary resources and support to enhance their operational effectiveness.
The COAS emphasized his pride in leading an army of dedicated and professional soldiers, describing their service as a testament to courage and patriotism.
