During his maiden operational visit to the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility at Joe Akahaan Cantonment, Makurdi, on February 12, 2025, he was warmly received by the Commander 401 SF Bde, Brigadier General AS Bugaje.

In his address to the troops, General Oluyede expressed deep appreciation for their relentless efforts in protecting citizens and defending Benue and its environs.

He commended their bravery, discipline, and sacrifice, reaffirming his commitment to providing the necessary resources and support to enhance their operational effectiveness.

General Oluyede assured the troops that their welfare and training remain a top priority and pledged to address any challenges hindering their mission success.
