The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has reserved judgment in nine separate appeals filed by factions of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose.

The appeals challenge earlier rulings of the Federal High Court, which halted the party’s planned national convention scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Despite the legal disputes, the convention reportedly went ahead, resulting in the election of Tanimu Turaki, SAN, as the National Chairman of the PDP, alongside other national officers.
