Sokoto State House of Assembly member representing Sabon Birni North Constituency, Aminu Boza, has strongly denied allegations linking him to the recent abduction and murder of Isa Bawa, the late District Head of Gatawa.

Boza, who has been accused by the son of the late Bawa of being involved in the plot, has refuted any connections to criminal activities or associations with bandits in the region.

“They were given the weapons during the campaign period, and they told my father that they did not know him from anywhere but were paid ₦5 million to kidnap him.”

In response to these accusations, Boza released an audio statement, vehemently denying any involvement in criminal activities or collaboration with bandits. He pledged to continue his fight against banditry, even if it puts his life at risk.

“I understand that fighting the bandits will not be easy, but if it costs my life, I will be content knowing I did everything to satisfy my conscience,” Boza said.
