Human rights activist Deji Adeyanju has launched a fresh attack on Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, describing him as a “political prostitute.”
Adeyanju, speaking in Abuja, argued that Obi must accept criticism as a natural consequence of being in public office.
“If he doesn’t want to be criticized, he should go back to his house and eat jollof rice. Anyone who puts themselves in public office must be criticized, scrutinized, and even insulted,” Adeyanju said.
The activist maintained that leaders seeking power in a democracy should expect public accountability and scrutiny at all times.
