Four suspected members of the Eiye confraternity have been apprehended by operatives of the Delta State Police Command during a targeted raid in Sapele, the command confirmed on Sunday.
According to a statement obtained from a source Naija Confra on X, the arrests were made on June 29, 2025, by the CP Special Assignment Team led by ASP Julius Robinson following credible intelligence.
The operation, which commenced along Yoruba Street in Sapele, led to the arrest of Rasheed Atanda (31), a native of Kwara State. His arrest subsequently led to the capture of three other suspects: Charles Oyowe (36), Rewane Ogbitse (49), and Shedrack Oloko (44).
Police recovered a Beretta pistol and three live rounds of ammunition from Oyowe, authorities said.
All four suspects have reportedly confessed to being members of the Eiye (also known as ACN) cult group.
Commissioner of Police, Abaniwonda Olufemi, commended the operatives for their swift response and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to eradicating cultism in the state.
Residents have been urged to report suspicious movements and continue to reject cultism in all its forms.
