A tanker conveying twenty six (26) tons of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) has summersaulted in Ibadan in Oyo State.

The incident, according to sources, occurred on Monday around Sat Guru Mahraji area, a few minutes to the defunct toll plaza along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

LeadNaija learnt that the tanker swerved off the road and fell on an open road and summersaulted.

Chairman of Oyo State Fire Service, Hon Maroof Akinwande, when contacted, confirmed the development.

Akinwande in a statement made available to LeadNaija on Tuesday noted that no life was lost in the incident.

He added that normalcy had been restored to the road as of the time of filing this report on Tuesday.
