Governor Monday Okpebolo of Edo State says he has fulfilled his civic responsibility by casting his vote at his polling unit in Esan Central Ward 2, Unit 1, during the Edo Central Senatorial by-election.

In a statement after voting, the Governor commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and other stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring a smooth and peaceful electoral process.

He Said:“I have just performed my civic responsibility by casting my vote at my polling unit in Esan Central Ward 2, Unit 1, for the Edo Central Senatorial by-election. I sincerely commend INEC, the security agencies, and all stakeholders for their efforts so far in ensuring a smooth and peaceful process as the elections continue.”

He urged voters across the state to turn out peacefully and exercise their franchise as the elections continue.
