Despite a 24-hour curfew imposed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, protesters have regrouped in the Tudun Ward of Nassarawa Local Government Area, to continue their demonstrations against hardship in the country.
The governor had relaxed the curfew for five hours to allow Muslim faithful to attend Jumaat prayers, but scores of youths seized the opportunity to reassemble on the bridge between Tudun Murtala and Tudun Wada wards.
Armed with placards, the protesters marched through the streets, singing and clapping as they went.
