Nigerian a decisive step to strengthen the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope National Development Agenda, the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, has announced the appointment of Hon. Lawal Sama’ila Abdullahi Yakawada as Chairman of all Boards of Commissions under the Federal Ministry of Regional Development.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, places Hon. Yakawada at the center of strategic policy coordination among the ministry’s commissions. His new mandate includes fostering synergy, ensuring collaboration, and driving the effective implementation of the National Development Plan aimed at accelerating regional integration and socio-economic growth nationwide.

Speaking during the announcement in Abuja, Engr. Momoh described Yakawada as “a seasoned administrator, visionary leader, and patriotic Nigerian whose wealth of experience will be instrumental in consolidating President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”

“This appointment is a testament to Hon. Yakawada’s proven capacity for leadership and his deep commitment to national development. We are confident that under his stewardship, the commissions will work in unison to deliver transformative results for Nigerians,” the Minister stated.

In his acceptance remarks, Hon. Yakawada expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the Minister of Regional Development for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to work tirelessly to advance the government’s developmental vision.
