The Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos, on Sunday joined other dignitaries to receive Former First Lady, Dame Patience Ebele Jonathan, at the palace of the Paramount Ruler and Agadagba of Arogbo Ibe, His Imperial Majesty, Pere (Barr.) Doubra Zaccheaous Egbunu, Opukutu III.
Dame Jonathan, who arrived in Arogbo ahead of the coronation ceremony of Kingsley Kuku, was warmly welcomed by the monarch and members of the traditional council.
Speaking at the event, the Ese-Odo council chairman described the visit as historic and a symbol of respect for the people of Arogbo and the Niger Delta at large.
The Agadagba, Pere Egbunu, expressed delight at the former First Lady’s presence, noting that it further strengthened ties between the palace and key figures across the region.
The visit was part of activities leading to the grand coronation in Arogbo Kingdom, which attracted political leaders, cultural custodians, and prominent Niger Delta stakeholders.
