VDM in a video posted on his Facebook page on Friday alleged that a car dealer went missing after N1.2 billion transaction with the Benue Government.
According to the critic, the Benue government purchased 9 vehicles worth N1.2 billion from the alleged missing dealer but failed to pay.
“To the executive governor of Benue State, the car dealer your government is owing 1.2 billion naira for 9 vehicles your government collected seems to have gone missing.
“The last time we spoke he told me that one of your cabinet members called him for a meeting in a hotel in Abuja.
“Rev Fr Alia, if he is in your custody, please release him. What is his crime”, VDM wrote as a caption of a viral video on his Facebook page.
Commenting under the post, Atu also known as Krayzeetee debunked the insinuation of abduction, saying the governor cannot “stoop as low as abducting someone”.
He wrote, “A lot of things here don’t actually add up but it’s dragging a governor so a lot of people won’t think like me.
“You said a cabinet member called him, the cabinet member doesn’t have a name? What about the number he used in calling?
“The other day you said other people in government were telling him to pay money without even mentioning any name.
“I think you need to learn a lot from Ahmed Isah of the Berekete family. If this case was reported to him, he would have at least made efforts to contact the governor but no. As long as it will give your traffic and make a lot of people comment against the governor, you are good to go.
“Governor Alia is a man of God and can’t stoop as low as abducting someone. In fighting for justice, you always contact both parties before acting.
“I just say let me advise you. Na followers you get you no be God”.
