President Bola Tinubu has permanently abolished the 5% excise duty on telecommunications services, following two years of suspension. The move, announced by the NCC, marks a definitive Burden’s End for Nigerian consumers and businesses.

President Tinubu has permanently removed a 5% telecoms tax.The excise duty was applied to mobile voice and data services.
