A double explosion has rocked Maiduguri, with blasts reported at multiple locations across the city shortly after iftar on Monday evening.

Witnesses said the first explosion occurred at the popular Monday Market shortly after 7 p.m., followed by additional blasts in other parts of the city.

Sources indicated that the explosions also affected the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and a nearby post office, raising fears of coordinated attacks.
