Exposed: The Conspiracy Against Self Determination And David Hundeyin’s Rants

Journalistic work is crystallized and clearly cut out. It gathers all the information and sifts through to separate the facts from propaganda. The real reason for referring to journalism as the fourth estate or power is because of the influence she wields in the sociopolitical life of every society. A journalist, especially an investigative journalist, conducts an investigation. Just as the name implies, it is simply a systemic or formal examination of things. It is, simply put, a scratch on the surface to see what is underneath....Don’t Miss Out! CLICK HERE TO KEEP READING..>>

In other words, an uncompromised journalist knows well enough that hearing from all sides is sacrosanct. It does not matter whether the other party is an enemy or disliked, fair hearing must undeniably exist. Infact, to serve a greater purpose, a journalist must defend the commoner instead of the clergy or the noble. This simply means that any journalist worth their onion must reach the victims and hear from them. Doing otherwise is suspicious especially in the era of information warfare.

Regrettably, the spate of misinformation targeting self determination has become alarming especially as it comes under heavy attack from presumed intellectuals, A-list influencers and best-seller investigative journalists. It is insufferable for a journalist to reduce the demand for self determination to a personal score settlement underscored by childish tantrum.

It is not the habit of Family Writers Press International to respond to or join issues with clout chasers that hypocritically yield to talking points lacking common sense. However, against our habit, we shall respond to David Hundeyin this once, on this issue, and set the record straight. One can not but wonder what the issue is with David Hundeyin and self determination to the extent that he criminalizes it.

It defies common sense for someone defined by internet gatekeepers as pro-Africa to insist on election as the only tool for rescuing his country. A process that has proven ineffectual time and time again. Yet, he slanders those with a different option who gave him the benefit of doubt even though they knew his antidote would not work.

David’s assertion that the Biafra self determination quest started in 2014 is quite laughable as it is an insult to the memory of those that died in the Biafra genocidal war of 1967-1970, and goes to prove that perhaps his CIA funding accusation most likely fits his role. Otherwise, how can anyone in their right senses imply that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a cultist or that the survivors of Nigeria government genocidal war of starvation cannot demand their own country because they were starved during the war.

David Hundeyin must understand that in the scheme of things of self determination, his opinion does not count; not now, not ever. He can continue to rant but must honorably remove the tag “investigative journalist” from his name. It is not in any doubt that Nigeria cannot be saved through election but it is his choice if he wishes to continue with the building of such castle in the air. It is not smart to feed propaganda to one million Twitter followers against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who leads the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), an organization of over 70 million people. He would figure it out if he is really smart as towing that path would hurt the opposition candidate he claims to support, unless he is a mole in the house.
