FACT CHECK: Full EPL Table After Yesterday’s Matches As Chelsea Regains Top-Four Spot

Only two matches were played in the English Premier League yesterday and the entertainment we got from those matches were unmatched.

Tottenham kicked off action in the competition when they hosted Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The North London Side orchestrated a wonderful comeback in this match as they ruthlessly thrashed Aston Villa 4-1 on home soil.

Goals from Dominic Solanke (double), Brennan Johnson, and James Maddison helped Spurs secure all three important points from this crucial encounter.

The most anticipated encounter in the competition between Manchester United and Chelsea wasn’t short of entertainment when both teams battled at the Old Trafford Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Manchester United took the lead in the 69th minute of the game thanks to Bruno Fernandes’s finish from the penalty spot.

Five minutes later, Moises Caicedo levelled the game for Chelsea by scoring a stunning goal from outside the box. Chances to win the game were missed by both teams in the final minutes as they settled for an intense 1-1 draw at full-time.
