1. Mohamed Salah
The player with the highest number of direct involvement in goals ahead of game week 15 of this term is Mohamed Salah. This Liverpool winger has been credited with 21 goal involvements in his first 14 matches of the season. These include 13 goals and 8 assists…
He started it all with a strike and an assist when the Reds visited Ipswich for their season-opener. It should be put on record that his best performance so far was in the match day 14 encounter with Newcastle. The Egyptian forward netted twice and set up one strike for the Merseyside club to secure a 3-3 draw at St James’ Park.
2. Bukayo Saka
Salah is followed by the duo of Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer. These two attackers have been involved in 15 EPL goals each within the period under review. The latter who is the top assist provider in the league has been credited with 10 assists and 5 strikes so far in the tournament.
Coincidentally, the Arsenal winger netted one goal and set up another on the first match day of the 2024/25 season. He followed it with a run of 4 games of setting team mates up. It should be noted that Saka only failed to attempt at least one shot in only one English top flight games so far this term. That was in the September 22 encounter with Manchester City.
3. Palmer
Within the same period Palmer has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists for Chelsea in the Premiership so far this season. However, he only started getting goal involvements on match day 2. Interestingly, he did it in style. The former Manchester City midfielder was on target once and set Noni Madueke up for 3 more strikes as the Blues defeated Wolves 6-2.
4 Haaland
