The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has commenced enforcement actions on 1,095 property titles recently revoked over the non-payment of statutory land charges.

According to a public notice issued by the administration, the affected properties are linked to various individuals and entities across prime districts such as Asokoro, Maitama, Garki and Wuse.

The FCTA said the enforcement process follows the expiration of a final 14-day grace period, which ended on November 25, 2025.

Breakdown of the revoked titles shows that 835 properties defaulted in paying ground rents, while 260 properties failed to settle violation fees and land use conversion charges.

The administration warned that it will proceed with full enforcement, including reclaiming possession, sealing properties, and initiating further statutory actions as allowed under FCT land regulations.
