The Federal Government has commenced the implementation of its salary agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), following the approval of a 40 per cent increase in the Consolidated Academic Allowance (CAA).
The announcement was made by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON, who confirmed that the government has fulfilled its obligation under the agreement reached with the union.
