A 26-year-old Nigerian, Afeez Olatunji Adewale, has been extradited to the United States to face federal charges connected to the sexual extortion and death of a young American citizen in Pennsylvania .

The case involves Jack Sullivan, a student who tragically committed suicide after being targeted in an online sextortion scheme .

Adewale was arrested in Nigeria on August 17, 2023, as part of an FBI operation targeting sexual extortionists who prey on U.S. minors .

After more than two years, he was finally extradited on Friday, February 13, 2026, with critical assistance from Nigeria’s Attorney General’s Office, the Federal Ministry of Justice, and the EFCC .
