Kyari, who stepped down from office recently, was questioned by EFCC operatives as part of ongoing investigations into alleged fraud and financial irregularities at the national oil company.

Sources familiar with the matter said the former NNPCL boss “voluntarily presented himself” to investigators at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja and was allowed to leave after hours of questioning.
