Previously, Manchester United also made a bid for Tchouameni, and their bid was also rejected by Real Madrid.
It shows that Madrid is reluctant to let the 25-year-old leave. And it also shows the trust Xabi Alonso has in the French international.
Now, it is clear that Newcastle United are eyeing a move for a midfielder before the end of the transfer window. They have the money to spend.
