A man has died following a gas explosion that occurred in his workshop in Kaduna Vom Town, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau.
Security expert, Zagazola Makama reported that the explosion occurred on Aug. 17, at about 3:23 p.m., and involved one Peter, a resident of Kaduna Vom, who sustained severe injuries to both legs while part of the building was destroyed.
“Upon receipt of the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Kaduna Vom Division, visited the scene and rushed the victim to Vom Christian Hospital.
“Unfortunately, the victim later died while receiving treatment. His remains have been deposited at the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.
“Investigation into the incident has commenced,” the sources added.
