A Ghanaian cleric, Prophet Ebo Noah, has stirred controversy after announcing that he is constructing an ark, claiming God instructed him to prepare for an impending global destruction.
The prophet, who leads a congregation in Ghana, said he was divinely directed to take two of every species in the world aboard the ark before the catastrophe strikes.
According to him, the world will be destroyed on December 25, a prophecy that has triggered widespread debate and skepticism among citizens and religious groups.
While some of his followers expressed belief in his message, critics dismissed the claim as another doomsday prediction with no biblical or scientific basis.
Prophet Noah insisted that his mission was genuine and urged people to heed the warning, saying the ark would serve as a refuge for the chosen.
