In a powerful show of recognition and encouragement for sporting excellence, the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced a reward package of ₦30 million and a residential property at Sunshine Estate, Oba-Ile, Akure, for Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin.
The announcement was made during a special reception held in Akure on Monday to honour the Nigerian international for her outstanding contributions to the Super Falcons and her representation of Ondo State on the global stage.
“Oluwatosin Demehin has not only made Ondo State proud, but has also lifted the Nigerian flag high with her discipline, strength, and dedication on the football field,” Governor Aiyedatiwa said during the ceremony. “This reward is our way of showing gratitude and encouraging her and others to keep pushing the limits of what is possible.”

Governor Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting youth development through sports and creating opportunities for local talents to thrive both nationally and internationally.
