Grammy Award-winning Rapper Lil Nas X Hospitalised After Street Drama in Los Angeles (VIDEO)

Grammy award-winning rapper, Lil Nas X, has been hospitalised in Los Angeles after being spotted wandering nearly naked on a major street in the early hours of Thursday.

The artiste, born Montero Lamar Hill, was said to have been walking along Ventura Boulevard dressed only in underwear and cowboy boots, drawing the attention of passers-by. Eyewitnesses recounted that he was behaving erratically and at one point placed an orange traffic cone on his head.

Police officers who arrived at the scene around 5:50 a.m. reportedly attempted to engage him, but Lil Nas X allegedly charged at them and punched one of the officers. He was immediately restrained, arrested, and later taken to hospital on suspicion of a possible overdose.

According to reports, the singer had earlier been seen wandering shirtless through a Los Angeles hotel where he was not a registered guest, further raising concerns about his state of mind. Hours before his arrest, he also shared bizarre social media posts that suggested erratic behaviour.

Authorities confirmed that the rapper has been booked at the Van Nuys Jail on a misdemeanour battery charge after treatment at the hospital. His bail status remains unclear as investigations continue.
