Gunmen have kidnapped no fewer than seven passengers along the Kishi/Igbeti road in Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo State, near the proposed Oyo Empire University.
The victims include the driver and passengers of a commercial Volkswagen Gulf and a truck. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, throwing the neighbourhood into panic.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victims were threatened with guns before being marched into the nearby bush.
