Hadin Kai Troops Rescue Three Kidnapped Victims, Recover Rustled Cattle In Kaduna

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have rescued three kidnapped victims and recovered 12 rustled cattle following a swift response to a terrorist attack in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A military source said the troops of 2 Battalion, deployed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Kuyello, acted on credible intelligence on an attack at Lahin Dan Auta community in Kuyello area.

The source disclosed that the troops responded to the incident at about 2:00 p.m. on March 27 and engaged the assailants upon arrival at the scene.

“On sighting the troops, the terrorists were overwhelmed and fled, abandoning three kidnapped victims and 12 rustled cattle,” the source said.

He added that the rescued victims were safely reunited with their families, while the recovered livestock were handed over to their rightful owners.
