The Secretary-General of Hezbollah has called for sustained resistance and national unity in Lebanon, amid rising tensions with Israel and the United States.

In a lengthy statement, the Hezbollah leader alleged the existence of a broader geopolitical agenda aimed at expanding Israeli influence in the region, describing the situation as an ongoing “Israeli-American aggression” against Lebanon.

He claimed that hostilities have continued despite previous agreements, warning that the country faces a critical choice between what he described as “surrender” or “inevitable confrontation.”

According to the statement, Hezbollah’s armed wing—referred to as the “Resistance”—has prepared for continued operations, insisting it remains committed to defending Lebanese sovereignty and territory.

The group also called on all sectors of Lebanese society, including government institutions and the military, to unite against external threats.

“The responsibility of confronting aggression is a national responsibility for all,” the statement said, urging a unified stance to counter perceived foreign influence.

Hezbollah further rejected negotiations with Israel under current conditions, arguing that talks while hostilities persist would amount to capitulation.

The statement also expressed support for Iran, describing its ongoing confrontation with the United States and Israel as a model of resistance.

There has been no immediate official response from Lebanese authorities, Israel, or the United States regarding the remarks.
