A 35-year-old man has died following an alleged assault by his brother in Niger State, sources said.
The incident reportedly occurred on Feb. 17 at about 7:00 a.m. in Mohoro via Dusai District when Sani Bauchi reportedly had a misunderstanding with his younger brother, Isah Nathaniel.
During the altercation, Bauchi allegedly struck Nathaniel with a stick, inflicting fatal injuries.
The injured victim was rushed to General Hospital Bangi but was confirmed dead upon arrival. His remains have been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Police said the suspect was arrested, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
