Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has revealed the role played by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, in the removal of his name from the wanted list of the Nigerian government.

Igboho was declared wanted by the Buhari administration for agitating against the attacks by Fulani militias against harmless villagers in his hometown.+Full Details. .

His house in Ibadan was invaded by security operatives who ransacked the building but couldn’t find Igboho, who managed to escape to the Benin Republic, where he remained in exile.

With President Bola Tinubu now in power and Ladoja now the Olubadan of Ibadan, efforts were made to delist him from the wanted list.

On Monday, Igboho paid a visit to the Olubadan, during which he told Journalists that it was all about showing gratitude to the monarch for the role he played in making him a free man.

He said, “My father, the Olubadan, called me three days ago around 10:10 pm, saying he was with the President. He said he had settled my case and that I’ve become a free man. He said I could enter Nigeria freely, urging me to come back to the country from exile and live with my family peacefully in Ibadan.

“I was very happy, and my joy knew no bounds. That’s why I am here to give thanks to my father, the Olubadan, show gratitude and thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
