Senator Adams Oshiomhole has reacted strongly to the removal of Farouk Ahmed from office, describing the development as a welcome decision while making controversial remarks on Nigeria’s industrial and importation policies.

Speaking on Thursday evening, the former Edo State governor expressed satisfaction with Ahmed’s exit, accusing him of opposing job creation in Nigeria while favouring importation.

“I celebrate the removal of Farouk Ahmed last night,” Oshiomhole said. “Anyone who opposes job creation in Nigeria while preferring importation doesn’t deserve to live.”

The senator also added that he would personally mark the development, saying he would celebrate the removal.
