ICPC Traces Luxury Villas and Apartments in Egypt to Former Kaduna Governor El-Rufai

The ICPC has reportedly linked several luxury properties in Cairo, Egypt-three villas and six apartments to former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai during an investigation into alleged financial misconduct during his tenure from 2015 to 2023.

The properties, located in upscale estates in New Cairo, are valued in the millions of dollars and were allegedly acquired between 2021 and 2023.

El-Rufai denies any wrongdoing, describing the probe as politically motivated, and has filed a lawsuit seeking N1 billion in damages over the search of his Abuja residence.See more. .
