Bees can live in both natural and manmade environments. They like flowers and things that have a sweet taste and smell such flowers as orchid and meadows.
The honey farmers keep the bees in the crates. Naturally, bees are found living on cavities and edges of trees to avoid predators. In African cultures bees are associated with a variety of beliefs.
Such beliefs include that bees are used to forecast the weather. This might be because when it is warm and sunny bees fly away you rarely see them flying around.
If you see bees fly close to your home or inside the house, the weather will most likely be rainy, cold and stormy. If the bee enters the house it indicates that you will have a visitor.
Bees have always been seen as a good creature even though they sting. But they don’t just sting you, if they do it might be that you provoked them.
Bees are a sign of good luck but it depends hpw you treat them. Say for instance the bee enters your house if you chase it away or kill it well you’re inviting bad luck or the visitors you’re about to have will be unpleasant.
If you welcome it and just let it stroll around the house and leaving it leave on it own accord. Bees are wise and holy creatures. Bees were once thought to be messengers and their humming sound was thought to be a hymn of praise.
According to the bible, bees represents wealth and happiness that is why bee’s characteristics are compared to Jesus because they have same attributes of wisdom and strength.
It was also believed that if an innocent girl, therefore a girl who hasn’t been intimate with anyone could walk through bee swam without being stung, she was a virgin.
Some cultures used this method as a tester to see if the girl is still pre before marriage.
if the bee lands on someone’s hand it is thought that they’re about to receive money. If it lands on a person’s head it symbolises greatness and kingship.
