In Ogun State’s Remo federal constituency, Adesola Elegbeji of the APC has emerged victorious in the by-election, securing 41,237 votes. This election follows the death of Adewunmi Onanuga, the former representative of the constituency.
Elegbeji won with 41,237 votes, defeating PDP’s Bolarinwa Oluwole, who garnered 14,324 votes.The late Onanuga had been a deputy chief whip and chaired the women’s affairs committee in the House.
