The Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) has released images from Eid celebrations at one of their camps in northeast Democratic Republic of Congo, offering a rare glimpse into the group’s civilian population.

The photos show women and children mingling with armed fighters, highlighting the extent to which terrorist organizations have embedded themselves within communities and built self-sustaining enclaves.

The images serve as both propaganda and evidence of the group’s continued operational capacity in the region.
