The Ondo State Civil Service Commission has announced the commencement of recruitment for qualified candidates into the positions of Cultural and Tourism Officers (Grade Level 08) in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Alagbaka, Akure.
According to a public service announcement issued by the Commission, interested applicants are invited to apply through the official recruitment portal: www.odsgcivilservicecomm.org.ng — beginning Thursday, October 23, 2025, and closing on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
Qualifications and Requirements:
For the Cultural Officer position, applicants must possess a degree in Fine Arts, Music, Theatrical Arts, English Literature, Linguistics, or Journalism from a recognized university.
For the Tourism Officer role, applicants must hold a degree in Arts, Tourism, or Social Sciences from a recognized institution.
All candidates must:
- Have completed the mandatory NYSC programme (where applicable);
- Be physically and mentally fit;
- Be not more than 45 years old;
- Present a valid Certificate of State of Origin duly signed; and
- Submit a Birth Certificate or Age Declaration Affidavit.
The Commission emphasized that only qualified candidates who meet all requirements will be considered for the recruitment process.
