JUST-IN: APC National Chairman Yilwatda, Condemns Niger State Killings

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has condemned the recent attacks on communities in Agwara and Borgu Local Government Areas of Niger State leading to loss of many lives

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on media and communication strategy Abimbola Tooki, the National Chairman expressed deep concern over reports of sustained violence across affected communities, killings in Kasuwan Daji and Kaima, burning of markets, destruction of homes and places of worship as well as abduction of pupils

The APC National Chairman sympathizes with Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, the government, and the people of Niger State, particularly the families and communities who have suffered painful and irreparable losses and prayed God to grant the deceased eternal peace

Professor Yilwatda commended the swift response of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Ministry of Defence and Service Chiefs, and other security forces to track down and apprehend the perpetrators of the attacks and ensure they are brought to justice without delay.+See more details
