The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that it is set to commence the next phase of its ongoing recruitment exercise, moving from the computer-based test (CBT) stage to physical screening and document verification.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Secretary, the Board said applicants who performed well in the earlier stage have been shortlisted strictly on merit. Successful candidates are directed to visit the official recruitment portal — recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — between Monday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 3, 2025, to select their preferred screening venue and date.
The Board emphasised that all official communication regarding the next phase will be strictly through its portal, warning applicants to disregard emails or messages from unofficial channels.
According to the statement, the nationwide physical screening is scheduled to hold from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 12, 2025, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
CDCFIB reiterated that the shortlisting process adhered to the Federal Character principle and the manpower needs of each of the Services under the Board.
The statement, dated November 27, 2025, was issued from the Board’s headquarters at the Old Federal Secretariat, Area 1, Garki, Abuja.
