The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the death of a serving corps member in Dambam Local Government Area.
Sources said the incident was reported at about 9:20 a.m. on Sunday while the Christian corps members were preparing for Sunday church service, they discovered that Mr. Nwokedi Chukwu Ebuka Gerald, 28, with state code number BA/25A/2069, did not wake up.
A police team visited the scene and conveyed the body to the General Hospital, Dambam, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead. The remains have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare, for preservation.
Sources said no foul play was suspected, as there were no marks of violence on the body. Investigation is ongoing.
