JUST-IN: Court Grants N500m Bail to Ex-AGF Malami, Wife, Son

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted bail to former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, his wife, Bashir Asabe, and their son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, in the sum of N500 million each.

The ruling was delivered on Wednesday by Justice Emeka Nwite, who presided over the matter.+See more details

In his decision, the judge granted the defendants bail pending the determination of the charges filed against them.

Justice Nwite ruled that each of the accused persons must meet the bail condition of N500 million, with additional requirements to be specified by the court to ensure their appearance for trial.
