Suspected armed bandits have raided Hunkuyi town, the administrative center of Kudan Local Government Area in Kaduna State, leaving one person dead and another abducted.
The incident, which happened late Monday night, threw residents into panic as the attackers fired multiple gunshots to disperse people before launching their assault.
Witnesses reported that a local resident was killed in the process, while another victim was forcefully taken away into the surrounding forest by the assailants.
