Iran’s newly appointed leader, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued his first public letter following his selection by the Assembly of Experts as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
In the message read aloud on state television, Khamenei described his new role as an “immense responsibility,” following in the footsteps of Imam Khomeini and his father, the late Ali Khamenei, who was killed in recent strikes. Authorities have not released any video or audio of the new leader since the incident.
The letter struck a defiant tone, praising Iran’s armed forces and allied groups across the region. Khamenei thanked Hezbollah, Iraqi factions, and Yemen’s Houthis for standing with Tehran, calling the “Axis of Resistance” an inseparable part of the revolution’s Get The Full , Details. .
